It features two separate maps. One represents the Surface World and the other the Underworld. These maps are smaller than 40x20 but larger than half - size, and together they cover more area than a 40x20 map. Certain areas on the maps are portals that let you travel between the Surface and Underworld, like the Tower of Koth and Sarkomand. The goal? Control all the Citadels on a map, such as Kadath or the Vaults of Zin, and win instantly! You can turn the tables even if you're trailing on the Doom track. The game includes 6 plastic Zoogs and a Bhole. The Zoogs scurry across the Surface World, bothering your cultists and gates. The Bhole is a terrifying predator rising from the Underworld depths to wipe out armies. This makes the 'Citadel victory' a real challenge, adding more excitement as some players aim for the traditional Doom victory while others go for Citadels. To play with the Cthulhu Wars Dreamlands Map, first set up the two maps, the Surface World and the Underworld, making sure to mark the portal areas. Place the 6 plastic Zoogs on the Surface World and the Bhole in the Underworld according to the rules. Decide who will start the game. As you play, try to move your cultists to the Citadels on either map. If you manage to control all the Citadels on a map, you win right away! Remember, the Zoogs will try to mess up your plans on the Surface World, and the Bhole can destroy your armies in the Underworld. Be strategic and watch out for these challenges. When you're done playing, carefully put all the pieces back in the box. Store the game in a cool, dry place to keep the maps and pieces in good condition.
