Preorder now! Expected delivery on 2025 - 06 - 30. This is the retail edition of the Oblivion Mosquito Expansion for the popular Kingdom Death: Monster board game by Adam Poots. With a Board Game Geek average player rating of 7.75, it's suitable for 1 to 6 players and was published in 2019. Note that the Kingdom Death: Monster core game is required to play and is sold separately.
The Oblivion Mosquito is an excellent quarry choice. It can be a great second quarry or, if you're bold enough, a challenging first - tier quarry. Its powerful gear and armor set can prepare survivors well for their first nemesis encounter or third quarry. But be careful! Going after it too early might turn your survivors into living incubators, leading to an early game - over.
The expansion brings in a new game mechanic - Encounters. It includes a 100mm base Oblivion Mosquito miniature, 2 Oblivion Mosquito armor miniatures, 2 Oblivion Mosquito armor with mirror mask miniatures, 5 Oblivion Pupa miniatures, 5 Faceless Dwellers, 2 double - sided encounter boards, 120 game cards, 1 Settlement location, 2 Settlement Events, a 20 - page rulebook, 60 gear cards and more!
At TheGameSteward, we're excited to offer this game for online purchase. A significant portion of your spending on this expansion will go towards backing amazing new games on Kickstarter. If you have any questions about buying this game online or need game advice, contact us at The Game Steward.

How to Use:
First, make sure you have the Kingdom Death: Monster core game as it's required to play this expansion. Open the package and take out all the components like the miniatures, game cards, and the rulebook. Read the 20 - page rulebook carefully to understand the new game mechanic of Encounters. Set up the double - sided encounter boards, place the Settlement location, and start shuffling the game cards and gear cards.
Note that the Oblivion Mosquito can be a tough opponent. If you choose to go after it early in the game, be ready for the risk of your survivors becoming living incubators. Plan your moves and strategies based on the number of players.
Maintenance Advice:
Keep the miniatures in a safe place to avoid damage. You can use a storage box to keep them organized. For the game cards, you might want to use card sleeves to protect them from wear and tear. When not in use, store all the components in a cool, dry place to prevent warping or damage.
