The Great Library at Celaeno Map comes with two figures, the Librarian and the Custodian. It's set inside a cyclopean alien facility in the Hyades from Lovecraft lore. The Special Collections on this map let the first player to build a Gate gain extra spellbooks and new powers. But losing control of the collection makes your spellbook overdue, and the Librarian will threaten you. The Custodian moves units to an area called the Oubliette, which often fills up and may lead to fights. The Librarian can cause real damage when a player has an overdue Book, but returning the Book can reduce the threat. How to use: To start, set up the Great Library at Celaeno Map as an expansion to your Cthulhu Wars game. Place the Librarian and the Custodian figures on the map. When building a Gate on the Special Collections area, the first player gets new spellbooks and powers. The Custodian can move units to the Oubliette area during the game. Use Silence tokens to trigger special actions. If you have an overdue Book, the Librarian will activate. Just return the Book to reduce the threat. Notes: Be careful when dealing with the Special Collections. Losing control can bring trouble from the Librarian. If fights break out in the Oubliette, handle them according to the main game rules. Maintenance: Keep the map and figures in a dry place to avoid damage. Don't bend the map. If the tokens get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft cloth.
